Glinsk Gaa Congratualtes our very own Ross Hegarty, who has been selected on the Galway Minor football panel for the 2024 season. The club and community are incredibly proud to see you representing the county, and we look forward to following your journey.
The hard work and dedication you and your parents Eamon and Roselean have put in over the last 6 months have been incredibly, and we wish you all the very best. We thank all the coaches at Northern Gaels for all their work over the years and wish Kyle Connaughton, who has also been selected, all the very best.

Year 5 of the ECC sports scholarship programme took place yesterday at the Galway Centre of excellence in Loughgeorge. Congratulations to the 5 worthy recipients on thier awards and a massive thanks to PJ & Mary Fahy and Family and All at ECC Timber for thier continued support towards young people in the GAA.

Massive thanks to the 21 local companies and businesses who have kindly taken out advertising signage at the gaa pitch in Glinsk. We thank each one for their continued support and ask everyone to consider using these companies for any jobs or services they may require. Shop local and help local jobs and the local economy. This latest batch of advertising signs brings the total number of signs around the pitch to 75. A massive thanks to each and everyone for their generosity. We hope to get the next batch of signs into production in the coming months, so if anyone is interested, please contact Aiden Brennan or any committee member. Please note that the 1 year renewal on some signs is no up, and committee members will be in contact with those companies for renewal. 🔴⚫️🔴⚫️🔴⚫️

Hard to believe the first block of 6 week classes for Glinsk Gaa Gym is behind us already. Anyone looking to sign up for classes or open Gym can do so by contacting @rt_._fitness or any committee member directly.

The gym has been a resounding success so far with classes and open gym being well received so far.

Glinsk Gaa were delighted to be invited back to The Hague Netherlands for the 15th annual European 11 a side junior football competition. Having won this competition im 2023 we had hoped to retain it in 2024 , however due to various reasons we travelled with a much smaller squad than last year and after injuries early in the 1st game we were forced to play the remainder of the tournament with the bare 11 players. Huge credit to our boys who dug in and produced some fine football, eventually losing out to tournament winners kilcolny Gaa after extra time in the semi-finals. Congratulations to Kilcolny on winning the men's competition and Mountbellew/Moylough, who won the ladies' competition. This competition is always good fun and played in great spirits with teams from Ireland, Spain, Holland, and the UK taking part. Massive thanks to @mgavin17 and her team for organising a credit to you all. We also offer our thanks to our friends in @gaelicogalego gaa for their kind offer to their tournament in Spain in 2025 ✈️ ☀️. Thanks to Gordon Sirr for organising what was a fantastic weekend of football and craic. ⚽️
