In 2008, Glinsk u 14 team were crowned League Champions. On route to the final Glinsk defeated St.Kerril’s, Milltown and Eire Og- Fr.Griffins. In the final they edged out Salthill on a scoreline of 4—3 to 2—8.

All roads led to Tuam Stadium on the 5thof September 2009 for the North Board Junior final between Glinsk and Headford. Headford started brightly and had 2 points on the board before play was held up for 10 minutes after a Headford player received a serious facial injury. When play resumed Glinsk scored 4 points on the trot, 3 from Michael Keaveney and one from Jason Fannon to leave it all square at the break, 4 points all. Headford enjoyed a purple patch after the half time break and hit 5 points in a row. Entering the final stages Headford enjoyed a commanding lead but Glinsk never gave up and a goal from Seamus O’ Toole and a point from Fannon left just a single pont in it at the final whistle.
